In Google Search Console it is now possible to compare two different queries in one view. By doing this, you get an overview of KPI trends for the queries displayed in a single diagram.
For many webmasters it would be a great benefit to be able to compare certain SEO KPIs for different keywords. Especially for similar keywords (like singular and plural form) it can be very interesting to see which version performs better.
The new fuction in Google Search Console lets you select two keywords to compare. To call the new function, just navigate to Search Analytics and use the drop down below "Queries". There you will find the option "Compare queries".
After selecting the queries, a diagram containing the trends for the selected KPI is shown. This way you are able to directly compare impressions, clicks, CTR and so on. Additionally, you can combine the comparison with extra filters like search type or countries.
One of the first users who discovered the new feature was Jonathan Jones on Twitter.
